MAX-Seq Details

  • MaxSeq was designed by Intelligent BioSystems to be an optimized platform to run Sequencing by Synthesis(SBS) Chemistry, exclusively Licensed from Columbia University. With SBS you are able to achieve the maximum read lengths using simple, rugged protocols.
  • The optics include state-of-the-art components; highly accurate magnetic stage movement, autofocus Optics and 4-color, 5MP CCD detection. This system employs the most sensitive and FASTEST CCD detection available for fluorescent imaging!
  • System Control, Data Collection and Processing are all accomplished with very powerful MS Windows - based software. The software allows for easy protocol optimization, system control, data collection, fully automated phase correction, base calling, scoring and sequence alignment.
  • Max-Seq allows you to use the latest advances in library construcion including Rolony library construcion developed by the Church Laboratory at Harvard Medical School.
  • Max-Seq is thousands less than a comparable system from either Illumina or ABI and is fully licensed to perform the applicaitons it has been designed for. The per run costs are also substantially lower than ABI or Illumina by over 35%!
